He's been offered €50 000 for it by a French firm (appx $70 000) but it can be worth as much as $180 000. Its called Ambergris and sometimes its called "floating gold", the substance is found in the digestive systems of sperm whales. Turns out it is very useful and very valuable to the perfume industry as it smells like musk when mixed with alcohol, how'bout that! It's reportedly used in Chanel No. 5.
